To accomplish this, we train, provide direct patient care, and develop equipment and systems in order to expand compassionate health care services in underserved and low resource areas.  

• We currently support two US trained medical providers who live and work in East Africa, providing their services free of charge.

• We donate medicines to needy patients, and provide strategic equipment and infrastructure upgrades.

• We contribute to training programs at other hospitals and present at international medical conferences, and have conducted published research on problems relevant to medicine in low-resource settings.

• We have developed a low-cost neonatal phototherapy kit. Each year, neonatal jaundice kills tens of thousands and causes many times more to have lifelong disability - and the tragedy is that it can all be prevented with the right equipment. We have distributed hundreds of these free kits through out partners to low resource areas.
