Your support allows our two medical providers to treat patients and teach others free of charge. Clark Sleeth (MD) is trained in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, although you'll usually find him with the little ones. His wife, Valerie Sleeth (PA-C) focuses on adult medical care. Together with their three children, they have lived in Sub-Saharan Africa for almost a decade. They are currently stationed on Pemba Island, working with the Zanzibar Ministry of Health, although they travel regularly to other hospitals in East Africa.
If you'd like to suppport their work, click here and and designate the General fund.
We donate supplies and equipment and support physical construction to support the medical work at the hospitals we work at and are connected with. We periodically choose a specific need to raise funds for that will strategically expand services.
When you designate donations toward a specific infrastructure investment, funds will be applied first to that project (for example - NICU medical gas expansion, mechanical ventilators, syringe pumps, etc). Any funds donated above and beyond our goals for a specific project will be directed to the most pressing need we see.
We also accept donations of medical supplies - contact us for more information.
If you want to give to the current Project or Equipment need, click here and make a note if you'd like to designate the funds for a specific project.
Many of the patients we serve have limited financial resources. We provide medicines and food to patients who are in need, and support patients who require specialty care and surgeries that are not available locally.

We have developed plans for a low-cost phototherapy kit to treat infants with jaundice. For the instructions and files, contact us - you'll need access to a 3D Printer, around $50 of off-the-shelf electronics supplies, and some basic electronics skills. Upon request, we also distribute pre-assembled kits free of charge.
If you'd like to support the phototherapy kits, click here and make a note that it's for phototherapy. Each kit costs us around $125 including parts, labor, and typical shipping.
